Polar Bear Run sets a brisk pace for Terry Fox Foundation
The Polar Bear Run: To mark the annual tradition, hundreds of scantily clad — and completely unclad — Chicago students will dash together across the University's Main Quadrangle, located at the intersection of University Avenue and 58th Street. The run will begin around 3:30 p.m. and will be followed by a celebratory bonfire.

The Polar Bear Run is in it's 35th year, benefitting high school music students who participate in Student Music Mission Trips/Choir Tours. The Run began in 1989. Johnson Ferry began hosting the race in 1992, after being approached to take over the race which originally was held on the Mercer University campus in Atlanta, benefitting Easter Seals.
